VIDEO PRODUCTION: Central Oregon Community College community health program is a robust course of study with a wide variety of certifications and degrees available to students at four campuses across Oregon. COCC reached out to Gal Pal to produce an educational video that highlights the program and the vital and inspiring work done by its students. Learn more at cocc.edu/programs/public-health

IMPACT

The COCC video is played in high school classrooms across Oregon to educate and recruite young students interested in pursuing a career in public health. DESCRIPTION

VIDEO PRODUCTION: The Oregon Working Families Party is a minor political party that uses fusion voting, cross-nominating candidates from major parties with shared values. Working people representing working people in local, state and national government. The Oregon WFP collaborated with Gal Pal to document a spring house party in support of Portland City Councilors Angelita Morillo and Tiffany Koyama Lane.

DESCRIPTION

VIDEO PRODUCTION: Child Care for Oregon is a coalition of nonprofit organizations, labor unions, community advocates, parents, caregivers and providers working to build a comprehensive child care system in Oregon. The coalition reached out to Gal Pal to produce a video for lobbying efforts to secure funding for Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) in the Oregon legislative short session. DESCRIPTION

With use of the video in meetings and hearings at the state capitol, Childcare for Oregon Oregon secured $67 million dollars to cover the Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) funding shortfall, preventing the child care subsidy program from running out of funds. See and share the video here.
